ObsidianNav - Generate Navigation Links (Index, Next, Previous)

ObsidianNav is an Obsidian vault that demonstrates how to automatically create 'Next', 'Previous', and an 'Index' links for navigation.

These links are useful when your notes have a natural order. For example, 'chapter reviews' notes have the order: chapter 1, 2, ... n.

Creating the links by hand can be time consuming. ObsidianNav takes the pain away by generating the navigation links for you.

Navigation Links

The process is simple:

• Add a property to the note indicating it's order, e.g. chapter_number
• Add a one-line code snippet to the generate the links
• Easily configure the code snippet in another note

The ReadMe provides step-by-step instructions on how to copy the functionality over to your main vault.

As an added bonus the vault also contains example Dataview queries to:

• Generate a table of contents
• Extract 'key lessons' out to it's own table
• Show a list of unique concepts (tags)
• Show all notes that call-out the concept (tag)
